I have been a mechanical engineer for many years, first being apprentice after leaving school, I have a comprehensive knowledge of all electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Trailermate started off the back of our equine laundry business, I was asked by a customer if I knew someone that could service her horse trailer. As I have serviced and repaired our own trailer, I said I would do it for her, since then I have serviced and repaired many trailers.
I carry many spares for Ifor Williams trailers, as they are the most common make of horse trailer we have serviced, we can service any make of trailer, but may have to factory order any parts, that are specific to that make. (i.e. brake parts.)
I can service and repair, horse trailers, boat trailers, plant trailers, DIY type trailers, camping trailers and only the running gear and external electrics on caravans. In fact, if you can tow it behind your car or 4x4, I can service and repair it!
There is no charge for travel, if you are located within 20 miles of Bristol city centre. But if a return trip is required to carry out repairs, or collect spares there will be a charge to cover fuel.
If you are outside these areas, we can still service your trailer, but there may be a small charge to cover our fuel costs, call us with your location. (sorry but we do not cover Wales) |
